

The circuit works! It can even withstand 10 A! I placed these transistors on a radiator, the whole structure heats up significantly, but at least it can withstand 10 Amperes! I installed these transistors instead of the "original" 2N3055.

I carefully disassembled them from the PCBs and tested each one.

Next, I took the transistors from the horizontal scan circuit of monitors and TVs (J6810, C5404, P1488, C5521). The crystal has dimensions of approximately 2x2 mm (0.0787x0.07874 in). In fact, they don't even hold up to 0.5 A. The seller on the page indicates that the transistors are original. In this case, there was a breakdown of the "collector - emitter" transition of one of the 2N3055 power transistors. In the next step, I connected a slightly more powerful load - a lamp from the side lights of the car. Everything is in order, the voltage is regulated, the speed is changing. Then I connected the load - a cooler from the processor. The circuit works, the output voltage is regulated. Then I applied 230 V power supply and checked the functionality. The circuit was assembled by me correctly. Before soldering, I have checked every element.Īfter assembly, I checked the circuit again. I also ordered electronic components for this circuit on Ali Express. When I received the finished PCBs, I carefully checked them to make sure they fit the circuit diagram.
